Narrowboat Bodger Purchaser and moorers story

Narrowboat Bodger was purchased by David Horgan who then decided to sell his smaller boat with us on brokerage.

'I had been looking everywhere for a narrowboat and while there was lots about I really didn’t know what exactly I was looking for. I came to Venetian expecting to see one or two narrowboats for sale but was totally blown over by the amount of different narrowboats they had available. From the moment I walked into the sales office and was met with a warm welcome I knew I was in good hands.

My constant requests for keys to look around boats and spend as long as I wanted was never a problem for all the friendly staff in the Venetian office. I eventually fell in love with Bodger and the process began.

I now moor Bodger here at Venetian Marina. Friends had told me about other marinas in the area that they use but I felt so at home at Venetian it really was a very quick and easy choice to make. The facilities are fantastic, Chandeliers, Cafe, Showers, Launderette and full workshops with a dry dock for those essential maintenance jobs. It's so peaceful, quiet and friendly I don’t think i will ever leave. Except to go cruising of course'
