Narrowboat Sarah Purchasers story

This is the feedback received from David Lennox, the purchaser of Narrowboat Sarah. He purchased his boat from us in Jan 2019 and stayed with us at the marina for a further four weeks while he adjusted to his new life living the dream aboard his new home.     

Q: WHAT WERE YOUR REASONS BEHIND THE DECISION TO BUY A NARROWBOAT?

Desire for a better daily life & escape from high crime area  -stress & pollution. Having a sense of freedom to move as a continuous cruiser & enjoy peaceful surroundings. 

Q: WHAT RESEARCH DID YOU CARRY OUT BEFORE MAKING YOUR PURCHASE?

About five months of viewing narrowboats online - different marinas and brokers. I looked at YouTube videos & a lot of online forums.

Q: WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO USE VENETIAN MARINA? 

Close to my then home of Liverpool. Venetian Marina website was making comparing various boats easy. The floor plan was very useful, not all brokers do the floor plan & i think also Venetian Marina has a good reputation online.

Q: WHOLE BOAT BUYING EXPERIENCE AT VENETIAN MARINA?

Very straightforward. Bought the boat from the marina (not private sale) which gave me a sense of security. Surprisingly quick to complete the sales process too.

Q: ARE YOU ENJOYING YOUR NARROWBOAT AND HOW ARE YOU NOW USING IT? 

Yes, i'm enjoying & getting ready for continuous cruising.

Thanks to all staff at Venetian Marina, everyone has been kind & helpful, and very knowledgeable.The marina is very dog friendly, which was a worry as i have a dog. Just a suggestion, perhaps including some information about how dog friendly the marina is on your website would be a good idea.Finally thank you for fixing the Eberspacher & battery problems.
