Narrowboat Tranquillo Purchasers & moorers story

The feedback and story below was received from Steve Yates who purchased narrowboat Tranquillo from Venetian Marina in August 2018. Once Steve had the keys to his new boat he came to moor at the marina.

I decided to buy a narrowboat for a change of lifestyle. I have always loved the scenery, wildlife and the countryside. Before purchasing a narrowboat, I decided to carry out some research which included watching videos on YouTube, I just fell in love with the canals.

I decided to use Venetian Marina as they had the boat I wanted, and the staff were friendly and trustworthy. The experience of the buying process was excellent and smooth, with staff always happy to help. I am absolutely loving it and using N/B Tranquillo all the time. I was attracted to the moorings at  Venetian Marina after buying my boat here and staying for a few weeks. I soon realised what a great marina it is, I soon made friends and loved it.

The facilities at the marina are excellent, the cafe, the shop, the washing facilities are always clean and tidy. The accessibility of the canal network from the marina couldn’t be better. There is access to many trips on different canals.

canal boat Tranquillo is my first narrowboat and I’m absolutely loving it.
