If you're looking for somewhere to moor your narrow boat around the north-west of England, look no further, stop and take a look at Venetian Marina.

As well as offering narrowboats for sale, we have moorings for a 105 boats at our site located in Cholmondeston, near Nantwich, Cheshire.

In 2011 Venetian Marina became part of the Whilton Marina family who immediately began to upgrade the site, making it one of the most modern and up to date marinas in the area.

The marina office is open 7 days a week, with friendly knowledgeable staff on hand to help with your enquiries. We offer on site marine engineering facilities, including blacking hulls, fitting anodes, completing engine services and undertaking BSS failure work. We run a very professional and successful established boat brokerage, if you decide to sell, upgrade or even part exchange we can help.

Part of the upgrading included fitting new anti slip gritted galvanised piers, installing lighting, electric and water to every pontoon. Heat trace was also fitted, meaning that the water won't freeze during the winter, ensuring an all year round supply. 

We have moorers only designated facilities, which include spacious showers and toilets, as well as laundry facilities. For a small, fully refundable deposit, anyone mooring here at Venetian Marina will be given their own key, and have full 24 hour access. The facilities are cleaned regularly, to ensure the comfort of our guests.

Here at Venetian Marina we have a generous car park, with more than enough space for all of our moorers' vehicles. The car park is complete with an automated barrier and to maximise security the access code changes monthly. Anyone staying with us will be made aware of the new codes in our regular marina update letters.

We’ve got amazing access to the network. Turn one way out of our marina to go to Middlewich (and on to the Trent and Mersey Canal); whilst the opposite direction offers a convenient route to the Shropshire Union Canal and Llangollen Canal.

We take payment in advance for all moorings and offer great flexibility, you can moor with us for a week, a month, quarterly or yearly. All we ask if that you give us some notice as to when you may want to leave.  We are an official residential marina which means we can offer both leisure and residential moorings.

Finally there are a number of on site independent businesses, Venetian Hire Boat & Chandlery, which has all your boating supplies including fuel, coal and gas. Venetian Marina Tearooms, which is famous for their full English breakfast. Narrowboat Glass, if you are looking for something a bit special for your windows, come and see their showroom. They offer a wide range of services including stained glass for portholes and cratches.
