Venetian Marina is a family run business who are supported by a strong, enthusiastic and hands on team. We are here to help all our customers with buying, selling or mooring your narrow boat. We pride ourselves on our work ethic and approach to customer care with over 30 years combined knowledge of the marine industry.
Zoe Marina Manager
Zoe is the General Manager of Venetian Marina, responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the site, it’s staff, sales, engineering, residents and facilities. She has a long history in the marine and retail industry, her trade mark being the personal, friendly, touch both she and her staff have become known for, together with their knowledge and experience. Zoe has over 20 years experience dealing with buying, selling and everything else that comes with narrowboats.
Bryan - Sales Executive
Bryan served for over 33 years as a firefighter in the Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service. He went on to work for Canal & River Trust for a number of years at Harecastle Tunnel where he was a tunnel keeper. He joined Venetian Marina in 2014.
Nigel - Engineer
Nigel joined the team in 2021 after working for our sister marina for many years. He has owned several narrowboats and has a wealth of knowledge.
Jason -Sales Executive
Jason is the newest member of the team, joining Venetian Marina in September 2021. He loves the canals, enjoying annual narrowboat holidays which has sparked his interest in the history of the network. Jason founded Canals of Stoke-on-Trent and James Brindley (canal engineer) appreciation society on social media. Jason can also be found on his days off volunteering and looking after the working Narrowboat Dane at Middleport Pottery.
Simon - Gardener & Handy Man
Simon joined our team in April 2024 after working for the same company since leaving school. Simon brings a wealth of knowledge with him and is as keen as mustard to keep the grounds looking lovely for all to enjoy.
Rob - Sales Executive
Rob joined the team in 2022 after coming from a non boating background, he is learning a lot and can now helm a boat move on his own. Rob enjoys spending time with his wife, dogs & chickens.
