A YEAR OF CHANGE AT VENETIAN MARINA
What an unusual 12 months we have all been through!!!
We are now firmly into Spring, the weather is improving, the blossom is budding, the birds are chirping and finally we can get back to some kind of normality.
From Monday 29th March our leisure berth holders will be able to visit their boat at the marina with over night stays allowed from Monday 12th April.
We are continuing to closely monitor Government announcements regarding Covid 19, and will keep you updated via our website and social media pages of any changes, but we're hoping that we have seen our last National lockdown.
Although the canals have been very quiet and the marinas have been closed our team have been working away behind the scenes remotely. We have seen a huge increase in demand for boats for sale and the market has been extremely buoyant. We have had to adapt to a new way of working which saw us creating more in depth walk-through videos of any boats for sale. Some boats have sold based on videos and dealings have been completed via phone & e-mail.
Our sales office is currently closed but once the National lock down is lifted we will be offering viewings on sales boats again, but by strict appointments only, and dealings will continue to be done remotely for now. We hope to welcome people back into our office space in the future.

Venetian Hire Boats & Chandlery
Sue & BJ have continued to work throughout the pandemic offering boaters and locals alike critical supplies. I've said it many times but it is so true, their shop is very much an Aladdins cave of delights, everything from a can of beans to a new tiller pin. Currently the chandlery is open Wed- Sun 10-4 but please speak to Sue direct as these hours may change once the lockdown is lifted. Cover & Canvas
Nik joined the Venetian family summer 2021 with his already very successful cover business. If you require a new cratch cover or even a cover repair then Nik is your man. Nik lives aboard his own boat and has been around boats for many years where he has gathered a wealth of knowledge, you will find him located between the main marina office and the chandlery. Venetian Tearooms
Andrea has worked tirelessly during the pandemic to stay afloat as Venetian, to her is 'home'. After offering an extensive take-away and delivery service, regrettably in December Andrea made the very difficult decision to close her doors until such a time as she could fully open again. We have taken the opportunity to give Andrea a sparkling new cooker to work from when she returns so please get behind her and get those bacon butties and fry ups on order.
